Alamo Heights -- platted in August 1973 -- is in Section 26 in Hanover Township east of Boyle Road and north of the CSX Hamilton-Indianapolis mainline. The name was inspired by the 1836 battle in what is now San Antonio, and its streets also suggest Texas -- Amarillo Drive, Abilene Court, Del Rio Drive, Laredo Drive, San Angelo Drive and Waco Court.
